CHEESE DAYS INTRODUCES 2012 BUTTON LOGO
In
keeping with a time-honored tradition dating back to 1915,
Green County Cheese Days will again feature a commemorative
button to mark the 2012 festival. Cheese Days is pleased to
introduce the new design by artist and graphic designer Kim
Berg.
As a child growing up in Polo, Illinois, Berg’s
parents fostered her artistic talents by arranging for art
lessons and also encouraging other artistic outlets like 4-H.
She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Millikin University in
Decater, Illinois where she majored in Graphic Design with
a concentration on painting and drawing.
Berg has been adding her creative thumbprint
to the greater Green County Wisconsin area for many years,
designing product labels, packages, point-of-sale and promotional
items, brochures, flyers, posters, and logos. The 2008 Cheese
Days button is also part of her portfolio. Berg is the owner
of Fusionfly Web Design and Development.
In addition to commemorative buttons, t-shirts and other logo
merchandise, the design will also be featured on a limited
edition collector’s stein. Buttons are now available
for sale – contact the Green County Cheese Days office
at 608.325.7771 to make arrangements to purchase.
